My artistic research is focused on the relationship between the materic composition and the visual language of the image.
I use drawing and painting as my main exploratory practices.

I very often draw and paint portraits, to which I apply chemical reactions that radically transform the image.
The chemical process allows the opera to take life, mutating through time and space within its surface.

The drawing or the painting becomes independent of my initial willpower, experimenting with the freedom to transform itself. Influenced by different ascendants.
The matter and the structure of the creation greatly transform, thus changing the image’s concept, which becomes apparition.

By changing, the opera gives further importanece to the concept of time, which becomes added value for the work, instead of an enemy to face.

La mia ricerca si concentra sulla relazione tra la composizione materica e il linguaggio visivo dell’immagine.
Utilizzo il disegno e la pittura come principali pratiche esplorative.

Disegno e dipingo molto spesso ritratti, a cui applico reazioni chimiche, che trasformano radicalmente l’immagine.
Il processo chimico permette all’opera di prendere vita, mutando nello spazio e nel tempo, ristretto alla sua superficie.

Il disegno e il dipinto diventano autonomi rispetto alla mia volontà iniziale, sperimentando la libertà di trasformarsi, influenzati da diversi ascendenti.
La materia e la struttura dell’opera si trasformano, mutando così anche il concetto di immagine che diventa apparizione.

Cambiando, l’opera restituisce importanza al concetto di tempo, che diventa un valore aggiunto per il lavoro, anziché un nemico da fronteggiare.
